Happy Valentines Day !!!
I strangely have been craving tons and tons of chocolate lately, I guess its a women thing. Well I've found two recipes in particular that I've been enjoying recently both involving chocolate. Their simple, delicious and have been curbing my on-going cravings to splurge.
Simple Chocolate Sauce :
1/2 cup raw agave nectar (I like Trader Joe's brand)
1/2 cup raw cocao powder
1 tbsp olive oil
Blend all three ingredients together until smooth and then enjoy!
It keeps well in the fridge and freezer (although it will thicken in the fridge)
I like dunking my strawberries and fruit in this, it has a rich creamy dark chocolate taste.
(This one is husband approved!)
Chocolate Soft Serve Ice Cream :
2 frozen banana's
1 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp raw cocao powder
1 tbsp agave nectar
Puree ingredients in blender and enjoy it in soft serve form, or pop it into the freezer for an hour to firm it up a little. You can also leave it in the freezer if you like the consistency of an italian ices. I prefer it as a soft serve though.
